Luke Nose Patch with different ingredients to take care of your pores problem
Luke offers a range of Nose Patches varying in ingredients that address the pores and other cosmetic problems related exclusively to the nose.
What can go wrong with the nose?
There are pores on the nose and these can get clogged with dirt. Pores can become larger because of the skin losing its elasticity. Last but not the least is the problem of blackheads. Each hair follicle includes a gland that produces some oily and waxy substance called sebum. At times, the glands can overproduce this substance thereby blocking the hair. The sebum has an outlet on the top. When this outlet gets plugged because of the oxidation of sebum, the surface gets tiny black colored spots or what are known as blackheads. Dead cells are also trapped in this oxidized sebum.
The nose strips from Luke pull away this oxidized and hardened sebum, leaving the opening for sebum open once more.
The active ingredients in these products are Lemon Tea Tree, Mugwort, or charcoal. In addition, the products are fortified with aloe vera extract, hamamelis Virginiana, licorice extract, and vitamin E. Aloe vera is a good moisturizer and has skin soothing properties. Hamamelis Virginiana is an agent for tightening the pores, which is an action needed once the pore is cleansed. Licorice extract is to reduce any inflammation or skin irritation. Vitamin E is known to enhance the formation of collagen and slow down skin from aging.
In all, there are three variants of Luke's nose strips or nose patches. These are Mugwort, Charcoal, and Lemon Tea Tree.
Mugwort makes the skin appear to be brighter and healthier. Part of this process is by cleansing the skin. Mugwort is also an effective agent against any burning sensation which is inevitable after the blackheads are pulled away. However, those who suffer with allergies to substances such as latex, ragweed, honey and sage are advised to avoid this product. The Charcoal and Lemon Tea Tree variants are also effective for removing the blackheads. These, however, are more suitable for sensitive skins.
